IF you have ever wondered how big a colour screen $150.000 can buy then head to Cazalys next Friday for the NAB Challenge fixture to find out.
AFL Cairns hopes to have the ground's new electronic scoreboard installed, operational and ready for a test run by Thursday at the latest.
The scoreboard is a permanent addition to Cazalys' landscape and will be erected on the Till St hill in place of the old manual scoreboard which will be moved to the league's new oval at Gordonvale.
AFL Cairns managing director Gary Young said Cazalys needed an electronic scoreboard if it wanted to be considered a modern stadium.
"It's part of the continued upgrade of Cazalys and getting it up to a tier two stadium standard," he said.
