Cairns Saints on-baller Nathan Kabia believes the ice-machine at Cazalys could be in for a work-out during tomorrow's AFL Cairns preliminary final against Centrals Trinity Beach.
And it has nothing to do with the forecast of hot weather.
Saints and the Bulldogs are only one win away from setting up a showdown with South Cairns in next week's grand final. With the losers to prepare their livers for a Mad Monday, Kabia predicts both teams will resort to muscle to enforce their premiership credentials.
"Like we always do against Centrals, we're expecting it to be very physical from the start," the 25-year-old Portland native said.
"They're a physical team and if we can match them early we might be able to get in their minds and overpower them.
"We're probably the underdogs but we believe we have a lot to show if everyone plays good on the day."
