ABOUT MINI REDBACKS
MINI REDBACKS IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING.
Mini Redbacks is an introductory, non-competitive competition for boys & girls in Prep to Grade 3 designed to teach children how to play the game of basketball. The concept is to allow all children the opportunity to play the game in a safe, supportive & fair environment for everyone; non-competitive means no scores, no ladders, no pressure – just FUN!
Program groups are divided into age, grade, experience & gender based on registration numbers – this is the perfect introduction for children that have not played club basketball before.
Games are played at Warrandyte Sports Complex on Friday afternoons using the lowered height rings. Relaxed / modified rules are adopted to ensure all participates can fully enjoy the game while learning the basic rules & principles.
All particpants from Mini Redbacks are provided with FREE REGISTRATION for their first Redbacks season (competitive Saturday competition).
