The Under 12 girls (1) claimed the VJL 1 title with a 36-24 win over Altona (3).

In a fantastic achievement by Craig Porte's girls, they have achieved the ultimate of having gone through the season unbeaten, after winning every home and away game bar one (a draw against the Gators in round 16) and claiming both finals against Altona.

The Under 14 boys (2) took out the VJL 2 championship with a comprehensive 41-26 victory over Broadmeadows (2).

Coached by Glenn Dyett, the Cats won three finals in an impressive post-season display, which included two wins over the Broncos, who finished as minor premiers.

The Under 20 men saluted against Eltham to win the VJL 1 title, beating the Wildcats in an intense decider 61-44.

The Tom King-Vicki Mallon led side held a slender 15-12 advantage at half-time before piling on 46 points in the second half to run out comfortable winners.
