Big V Monthly Awards
Congratulations to Geelong basketball trio Grantley Bernard, Candice Rogers and Jess Watson on being recognised in Big V's April awards.
Rookie coach Bernard has been named State Championship Women Coach of the Month with a 4-0 record, including a drought-breaking win over Hume City.
Former All-Star Rogers, who is approaching 150 Big V games, has been named State Championship Women Player of the Month with 15.5ppg and 17rpg.
While teenager Watson has been named Youth League Women Player of the Month, averaging 16ppg and 10.3 rpg.
