Rogers turns Japanese

Candice Rogers

Geelong Lady Cat Candice Rogers has been rewarded for a fine first half of the season, named in the Big V All-Star team for a game against Japan next month. Rogers, who is averaging 15ppg and 12.4rpg, has been the outstanding big in State Championship women competition in 2010. “It’s a huge honour to represent Geelong and the league,” Rogers told Trash Talk. “It’s also a great chance to demonstrate the standard of the Big V competition.” The match will be played at Broadmeadows on June 3.
