Big V Finals Update
The Geelong Lady Cats and Cats have both had wins to open the 2010 Big V finals.
The Lady Cats came from 15 points down at half time to defeat Melbourne at Hume City 75-72.
Candice Rogers and Anna Teague both had 17 points.
While the Cats have beaten Altona 77-58 at Altona, thanks to a 20-8 second quarter.
Paul Hutchison (20 points), Marty De Lange (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Jason Reardon (12 points, 19 rebounds) ensured the victory.
It means both the women and men can lock up grand final berths with wins on Saturday night at The Arena Annexe.
Tip-off for the men is 6pm, with the women at 8pm.
If eithers side loses they'll be back for a deciding game three in the Annexe on Sunday.
The men will tip at 1pm, the women at 3pm.
