Geelong Lady Cats have claimed their first ever Big V women's title with an 86-66 game two grand final series win over Hume City.

The Lady Cats controlled the match from the tip, and were never seriously threatened after opening a 24 point win over the Lady Broncos.

Candice Rogers was named MVP after adding 22 points and 19 rebounds tonight, to go with 11 points and 15 rebounds in game one.

Kylie Morrissy starred with 23 points, on an impressive 10-16 shooting, while Maddy Taylor had 15.

For Hume City, skipper Kate Hogan was their best with 15 points.
