Christian College White returned to the Basketball Geelong men’s championship top four with a 90-66 win over Dolphins on Tuesday night.

Six players scored in double-figures for the Eagles.

However, none was more important than guard Nick Owusu, who had 15 points ahead of his anticipated return to the Supercats’ line-up for Saturday night’s SEABL meeting with Nunawading.

Ben McCawley was best for Dolphins with 20 points.

The Eagles replaced Vytis inside the four, as the Knights’ dropped an 85-72 decision to Try Boys.

Paul Hutchison again paced the Bears with 23 points and Chris Daniele had 17.

Supercats’ rookies Michael Rebula (25 points) and Lachie Headlam (16) were best for Vytis.

Steve Packer scored 34 points in Pivot City’s 64-18 romp over an undermanned Rovers.

Chris Eichler had 10 point for Rovers.  

Sharks kept alive its finals hopes with a 93-72 win over Christian College Silver, despite a 40-point haul from Tim King.

Dane Bow was the star for Sharks with 21 points.

Jordan Hill turned in another stellar shooting performance in YMCA’s 67-44 win over Tigers.

The veteran finished with 35 points.

Pivot City extended its winning streak in women’s championship to 13 with a 66-48 victory over Sharks, and at the same time sealed top spot with three rounds remaining.

Ana Marinovic was again among the points for Pivot, finishing with 22.

Sharon Ford was the leading light for Sharks with 18 points.

YMCA moved off the bottom of the ladder with a 53-37 win over Dolphins.

The addition of Lady Supercat Candice Rogers (17 points) to the line-up proved the difference between the two teams.

Hayley Wood and Kim Martin both had 10 points for Dolphins.

Try Boys held Lara to just one point in the first quarter as they romped to an 81-27 win.

Four players scored in double-figures for the Bears, with Anna Teague’s 22 points taking scoring honours.
