Geelong Cats- Bye
Under 12 Boys Semi Final
Geelong Cats 36 lost to Diamond Valley 46
Top Scorers: H. Marshall 12, J. Morwood 6, L. Hanley 5
Coach’s Comment: “Unfortunately our season is over after falling in a tight one to Diamond Valley. We were very competitive all night, even opening an eight-point lead at one stage before being a little slow to react to their press which cost us. Down 10 at three-quarter time, we showed the resilience and toughness that got us into VC in the first place, slashing the margin to four points with a few minutes to go. Unfortunately we just couldn`t quite get over the line. The margin doesn`t suggest a game that was well and truly alive with a minute to go.”
