For the past eighteen months the Geelong Supercats and Basketball Geelong have been working together to unify our organizations in order to be better equipped to raise the profile of basketball in Geelong and deliver effective and successful programs.

Both small and large changes have been occurring, some behind the scenes, such as moving staff into one office, and some more public, such as the re-branding of the Geelong Junior Representative teams as “Supercats”. 
We are very excited about the direction that we are heading and the next steps that we are taking to ensure the continued success of the organizations. 

To assist with growing our brand and programs, there has been a new Chief Executive Officer role created. The new CEO will sit over both organizations and will provide leadership on organizational structure, revenue growth, community and commercial engagement, venue strategy and planning, pathway development and stakeholder management among other things.
