New tickets fee structure from January 21, 2013

The Basketball Geelong Commission has confirmed the new fee structure for tickets which will be in place from the re-commencement of the Geelong Basketball League (GBL) on January 21st. It is has been decided that there will be 3 different levels of tickets for GBL: Juniors, U20/U23 and Adults.

The ticket structure will be as follows:

                Juniors                 $7 (up from $6.50)

                U20/U23              $8 (up from $6.50)

                Adults                   $9 (unchanged)

This small increase is the first increase since 2009 and only the 2nd in the last 8 years. Whilst it is always the intention to provide Basketball at the lowest possible cost this increase is a result of the annual increases in all the costs associated with running our domestic competitions, including court hire and staffing costs. The BG Commission, after consultation with the Competitions Committee, will annually review the costs to ensure we continue to provide the best quality domestic competition.
