Under 16 AJC - Player Spotlight - Chantel Horvat
Chantel Horvat led all women in scoring at the U16's Australian Junior Championship with 16.3 points per game and also finished the tournament with 28 steals (3rd overall) and regularly posted a high player efficiency rating (PER) each game.
We spoke to Chantel about her goals coming into the AJC, the strength of her team, what it would mean to her to play for the Australian Opals one day and how being the daughter of a former Socceroos Captain has helped her drive as a basketball player.
Chantel also tells us about the mascot we saw at the end of the VIC Country bench each game.
