The Fun Program promoting Kids Involvement in Basketball

Aussie Hoops is Basketballs key introductory program for primary school aged children and their families. Through our weekly coaching program you will learn the skills of the game through modified activities and rules, play basketball in a fun and safe environment and make plenty of friends too!

This is a joint initiative between Basketball Geelong and the Supercats - you never know when you a Supercat or Lady Supercat might drop into your session or even be your coach on a weekly basis.

Program Cost

$60 - First Time Participants: includes coaching, certificate, insurance, backpack, basketball singlet & basketball.

$40 - Returning Participants: includes coaching, certificate & insurance.

Aussie Hoops runs with the school term, with each program starting in week 2 of the term and running for 8 weeks.

At the conclusion of each program coaches will then advise parents whether their child should continue with the Aussie Hoops Program or if they are ready to join a team and start participating in a weekly game.

• Mondays (3:45pm to 4:30pm) @ Leopold Primary School, Leopold - 3rd Feb 

• Tuesdays (3:45pm to 4:30pm)  @ Montpellier Primary School, Highton - 4th Feb 

• Wednesdays (4pm to 4:45pm) @ The Arena, North Geelong - 5th Feb

• Thursdays (3:45pm to 4:30pm) @ Lara Lake Primary School, Lara - 6th Feb 

• Saturdays (9.30am to 10:15am) @ The Arena, North Geelong - 8th Feb - 2 Courts
