Juniors chosen to play U16 State
Four Basketball Geelong junior athletes were chosen to represent Country Victoria at the Australian National U16 Basketball Championships in Perth, 12 – 19 July.
After a tough four day camp held in Ballarat on the weekend, three boys; Cody Donovan, Andre Garcey, Lewis Varley and one girl; Perri Jones, were announced as state representatives.
With nine Basketball Geelong athletes in total competing in the trials, it was a great achievement for these four, top-age U16 athletes to be chosen.
