YOUTH LEAGUE MEN – DIVISION TWO
Geelong Cats 108 dft. Werribee Devils 98
The Cats overcame an early deficit to win the second and third quarters by a combined 20 points and hold on for their second win over the Devils in as many weeks.
There were many contributors for the Cats, Steven Wiasak was once again impressive with 20 points and 17 rebounds; Michael Rebula top scored with 24 points to go along with 13 rebounds, Ben Scannell had 20 points of his own and Nathan Moore registered the first points-assists double-double of the season in the division.
The Devils were lead by John Banski’s double-double, however they were constantly outrebounded once again, highlighting the Cats’ dominance in the paint.
