Event Rules The basketball competition will be conducted under Federation of International Basketball Associations (FIBA) conditions and Guidelines. The following rules will also apply to the competition:

1. Timing rules are as follows: Warm-up 15 minutes (may vary) Playing time 4 x 10 minutes 1/4 & 3/4 time break 2 minutes 1/2 time break 10 minutes Extra period 5 minutes Extra period break 2 minutes

2. Each team will need two (2) sets of uniforms, one light and one dark. Teams will require an extra uniform in case of the `blood rule'.

3. Each team can have a maximum of twelve (12) players, one head coach, one assistant coach and one team manager.
