Wheelchair Tennis
Dates of Competition
Competition runs in the evenings, under lights, from Tuesday May 12 - Friday May 15
Venue
The Wheelchair Tennis will be held at Gardens Tennis Complex which is 5 minutes from Darwin City Centre.

- Men's singles
- Women's singles
- Men's doubles
- Women's doubles (mixed if insufficient numbers)
Classification
Athletes must meet the minimal disability requirements to compete in ITF Wheelchair Tennis.
Classification protests will be managed by the ITF representative.

Entry
Entry to OPC events closes on April 10.
Online accreditation is a 2-step process and needs to be commenced immediately.
Please visit the Arafura Games website and click on the blue box reading "start your accreditation here" to register.
Minimum age for Oceania Paralympic Championships
Athletes must be 15 years of age by 31 December 2009.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted under ITF Wheelchair Tennis Rules and Regulations.
Awarding of Medals
All athletes with a disability will be eligible for Arafura Games medals. OPC medals will be awarded to athletes from OPC member nations to a maximum of two (2) athletes per country per event.
ITF Sanctioning and Rankings points
The event is an ITF3 sanctioned competition. Rankings points will be awarded. There is no prize money offered.
Accommodation
The venue is co-located with Sky City Casino Hotel, however there are a range of accommodation options available.

Transfers and transportation
Airport transfers and venue transportation are provided free of charge to all accredited athletes and officials and is fully accessible.
Visa Information
Information on Visa requirements is available at the Arafura Games website. The organising committee are unable to provide official letters of invitation or assistance to athletes who do not hold a relevant visa.
