Updating Your Coaching Accreditation

Basketball Australia, Basketball SA and SA Country Basketball have recently introduced an online registration process for coaches to update their coaching accreditation.

If you have recently completed a basketball coaching course you can now register your accreditation online. Registration is renewable annually.

If you have previously been accredited and that accreditation has now expired you can use the same process to renew your accreditation with us online. This will allow us to stay in contact with you and keep you up to date with the world of basketball coaching.

Your accreditation will need updated annually. This can be done via the online system for a fee of $10 (+ $1 processing fee) which can be paid online.

We are currently developing online resources that will be accessible to registered coaches.

The following guidelines provide a step-by-step guide to registering with Basketball Australia as an accredited coach for basketball.
Registration Process
       Make sure you have your credit card details handy for the online payment.
       Firstly you will need to go to the following web address: https://reg.sportingpulse.com/regoform.cgi?aID=18316&pKey=8696c1e185dfba69d14f6bba15ce7607&cID=93148&formID=54301 
       Select the number of people you wish to register.
       Click on the ‘continue’ button at the bottom of the page. 
       Then click ‘New Member’.
       From here it will prompt you to enter your full name, date of birth and capacity in which you wish to register (you just need to select the ‘coach’ box).
       Click the ‘continue’ button at the bottom of the page.
       On the following page you will be required to enter your:
            o Email address
            o Home address
            o Emergency contact details
            o NCAS level
            o Contact number (mobile is preferable)
            o You can read Basketball Australia’s ‘Terms and Conditions of participation’ by clicking the blue hyperlink. Once you have done so, tick the associated box and you will then be ready to submit your details.
