Congratulations to the U18 Ipswich Energy boys on their recent Division 3 Silver Medal win at the U18 State Championships held on the Gold Coast. 

After losing the first two games in extreme heat against GC Waves and Noosa the ENERGY boys banded together to beat Mackay on day 2.  After winning a close game in overtime against RBG, the boys then went on to beat Seahawks that afternoon.

A must win game against Rockhampton saw them secure a finals berth. Special mention to Nathan, Haden, Aaron & Jason as they made 46 of the 65 points that game.  

With the Ipswich boys down to 8 players due to injury, the Division 3 Grand Final which saw Ipswich face off against Brisbane was always going to be tough.  Whilst, the Energy boys had a strong start, fatigue started to take its toll with Brisbane becoming the eventual winners. 

The Ipswich Energy boys did an awesome job in securing a Silver Medal in the Division 3 competition and stepped up  as a team when it mattered most...Well done boys we are all proud of you...
