Hawks Referees Get The Call for WABL Grand Finals
The appointment of eight Hawks referees to the WABL Grand Final program this weekend speaks volumes about the work being done by Perry Lakes to develop and retain their officials.
Rod Hislop, Chairperson of the WABL Referee Appointments Committee, says that Hawks are doing some great work at this level and he looks forward to further promoting referee pathways to development programs, State and National championships, SBL and the NBL.
Much of the hard work is being done by Tanya Steers (Hawks Referees Director) and Robyn Graham, and they are ably assisted by the young men and women listed below, and others. Tanya and Robyn are creating a culture at the club where referees enjoy being a part of the reffing community and know they have the support and expertise of their peers to rely on.
