Tigers Appoint Nener as Coaching Development Officer

The Board of Willetton Basketball Association (WBA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Nener as our Coaching Development Officer, effective 9th October 2009.

Adam, being a proud product of our junior program, returns to Perth after 3 years interstate, bringing to Willetton considerable experience on top of his successful playing career.  Having spent most of that time with a very successful Victorian basketball association in development roles (as well as a player), Adam is very well suited to this role with us.

Adam’s focus will be to work with the Head Coaches and our club to develop a coaching development program that identifies, encourages and develops coaches across the Junior clubs as well as the WABL program.

Closely aligned with these key objectives will be the development of a program to identify and develop players, drawing on our own senior players as well as guest coaches to suit various stages of this program.

As Adam’s plans are developed and approved, he will implement the programs across our stadium community.

Watch the WBA website for details of the programs as they are developed.
