WABL All Star Day Postponed
Basketball WA wishes to announce that the scheduled WABL All-Star event on Sunday 25 October 2009 featuring the U14/16/18 women and men has been postponed.
The decision to move the event was made due to the unavailability of all associations with players and coaches, referees, score bench, and late notices provided.
BWA anticipates holding the event at the new State Basketball Centre during the pre-season blitz of the State Basketball League on 5/6/7 March 2010.
Operations Manager CJ Jackson would like to apologise for any inconveniences.
"It is our main goal to have an event that will capture some of our talented young players, coaches, and referees to showcase our WABL competition. We were unable to put on this outstanding event to showcase league wide talent due to short notice and other basketball commitments throughout the Community and in our participating associations."
Details of the All-Star weekend will be communicated to all associations in December 2009. Basketball WA would like to thank you for your patience and look forward to this event in 2010.
