2009 Go for 2&5 BWA Summer Classic Nominations Close Friday!
Basketball WA & the WABL Commission are calling for nominations for the 2009 Go for 2&5 BWA Summer Classic (WA State Championships). All Metropolitan and Country Associations are invited to attend.
2009 will mark the last ever WA State Championships to be played at the iconic "home of basketball" Perry Lakes Stadium.
The Championships pit the best teams from all over Western Australia against each other in a "lightning carnival" type format over one weekend. The dates for the 2009 Go for 2&5 BWA Summer Classic are:
- November 28 & 29 - Under 12 & 13 Boys & Girls
- December 5 & 6 - Under 14 & 15 Boys & Girls
- December 12 & 13 - Under 17 & 19 Men & Women
All Affiliated associations can download the 2009 nomination form below. Complete the form for your Association and return to Basketball WA by 10:00am Friday 13 November 2009.
All association may enter a Championship Division Side and multiple Second Division Sides in 2009. The results will again be updated throughout the weekend on the WABL website for fast results processing.
