2012 WABL Fixtures
Basketball WA is pleased to announce that the 2012 WABL Fixtures have been finalised.
The season will commence on Sunday 29 April and run for 20 weeks including finals. There will again be two general byes (July 8 & 15) in the middle of the season for school holidays and Under 16 Australian Junior Championships.
After the last regular season game (Week 16 - Sunday 26 August) there will be four weeks of finals at the WA Basketball Centre (September 2, 9, 16 & 23).
The 2012 WABL fixtures have a much stronger synergy with the 2012 State Basketball League fixtures. A big draw card will see five combined SBL/WABL fixturs in Eaton which will give WABL teams the opportunity to watch their SBL team in Eaton on Saturday and play WABL in Eaton on Sunday.
In addition to this there are also combined SBL/WABL games that will be played in the same venues on a number of Sundays.
