"Bevo" to work with young Redbacks
As Head Coach of the Perth Wildcats, Rob Beveridge has made no secret of his passion for the development of junior basketball in the state. On February 5th the PBA will be happy to benefit from this passion and commitment from one of the nation's best basketball minds.
As previously announced, the Redbacks will hold open selection trials for all players interested in representing the club at W.A.B.L. level. Trials will begin at the Leisurelife Recreation Centre on Sunday, February 5th.
On this day "Bevo" will take an hour to talk with our WABL coaches for 2012 about the building blocks of a good development program. He will then run the trial for all boys auditioning for places in our Under 15, Under 16 and Under 18 Boys teams. The session will also be open for all club members who wish to observe.
Obviously this is a great opportunity to for both our coaches and young players, who will get the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business. All players who wish to be involved in the Redbacks WABL program in 2012 should be attending this event. Session times are listed below:
9:00-10:30 Under 12, 13 & 14 Boys
10:30-11:30 Coaches Meeting with Rob Beveridge
11:30-1:00 Under 15, 16 & 18 Boys with Rob Beveridge
1:00-2:30 Under 12, 13 & 14 Girls
2:30-4:00 Under 15, 16 & 18 Girls
