Willetton went down in their fight for positions 9/10 against the Sydney Comets. Rebecca Thomson had an impressive 22 points for the Tigers, however it was not enough to stop Sydney registering a 71-49 win.

Fighting for positions five and six in the Shield, Rockingham pulled off a 55-49 win over North West Tasmania. The Flames were led by Ariana Herrington and Ariana Wheki who both had 14 points, while Olivia Lewis had ten points.

Basketball WA would like to congratulate all seven teams for their hard work and dedication over the week. Thanks must also go to the volunteers and staff at Kalamunda who hosted the Under 14 Boys Club Championships. The KDBA team won the tender and presented the tournament in a professional manner, representing the WA basketball family in outstanding fashion.
