Kickz101 WABL Players of the Month
The Western Australian Basketball League would like to congratulate Brooke Rebel of the East Perth Eagles who has taken out the Kickz101 Perth, Female WABL Player of the Month and to Jordan Sears of the South West Slammers who has taken out the Kickz101 Perth, Male WABL Player of the Month for June.
Clubs nominated players earlier in the month for both on and off the court achievements which Basketball WA cut to a final three in both the female and male category.
The final three were entered into a poll on the WABL facebook page where the public could choose who would win the award.
When voting closed at 9:30am on Monday morning, over 2500 votes had been received with Brooke and Jordan coming out as the winners, earning themselves a new pair of shoes of their choice thanks to Kickz101 in Perth.
Special mention to runners-up Adrian Wilson (South West), Mia Satie (Perry Lakes), Jetani Hunter (Perry Lakes) and Michael Garbellini (Willetton).
