WA Country girls played QLD South for 11-12th position on the final day of competition. The first quarter was an even affair with both teams trading baskets. WA led 15-13 at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter mirrored the first with neither team being able to grab the ascendency. Foul trouble to WA's Mackenzie Hoycard saw Tiahna Sears pick up the scoring slack with 9 first half points. Queenslands led by a single basket at the half time break 27-25.

A patch of play where Queensland increased its defensive intensity hurt WA in the third quarter as Queensland extended its lead to be up 44-38 at the end of the third quarter. The last quarter saw Queensland take control to run out comfortable winners 64-47.

For WA, Tiahna Sears led the way with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Megan Ferraz added 7 points while Mackenzie Hoycard grabbed 7 rebounds.

An injury-hit WA Metro boys team took on Queensland for the second time at the tournament, hoping to reverse their overtime loss on the first night of competition. Both teams struggled offensively at the start of the game. Once again, Queensland player Harry Froling was the dominating force, scoring all of his team's points to give them a 12-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter started well for WA with Andrew Ferguson being a presence on court. Jhonny Lutula brought the WA supporters to their feet with a big two handed dunk in transition to tie scores at 14-all. Queensland then went on and 8-nil run, only for WA to keep the game even. However another 10-nil run by Queensland just before half time saw them take the lead 34-25 at the break.

The second half saw Queensland control the game with WA unable to stay with them, with the final result seeing Queensland win 79-57.

For WA, Jhonny Lutula led the way with 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Corey Shervill (9 points and 9 rebounds) and Mitch McKenna (9 points and 7 rebounds) also toiled hard.

In an evenly poised matchup the WA Metro women faced New Zealand playing for 7th and 8th place overall. Both teams came out firing shooting well from the outside but it was the WA Metro girls taking a slender lead into quarter time 19-18.

In the second quarter the WA girls looked to extend their lead pushing the ball in transition. Despite a tight second half with both teams struggling to score it was the WA Metro girls holding on to a hard fought victory 71-68 to finish 7th overall.

Amy Atwell top scored with 19 points along with 6 rebounds and Mia Satie had 17 points and 11 rebounds in an outstanding performance.
