Security Alert
There was an unfortunate incident at the WA Basketball Centre last Sunday afternoon, September 29, as we experienced an armed holdup and had a large sum of money stolen from the front desk.
Police are dealing with the incident, however, for security purposes all entry fees will be paid at the Venues West reception desk during WABL Grand Finals on Sunday, October 6.
Basketball WA understands this may extend waiting times or pose as an inconvenience to our patrons, however under the circumstances I’m sure everyone can appreciate our reasoning for this and we ask that you please be patient on Sunday.
Just a reminder to everyone, please do not leave any valuables in your car when attending the WABL Grand Finals and to be on alert for any suspicious behaviour in and around the venue.
