Doyle comes up apples
LA SALLE College student Rebecca Doyle is in Tasmania this week competing in the 2009 Australian Under-16 Junior Basketball Championships.
The competition began on Saturday with an opening ceremony at the Ulverstone Basketball Stadium, with finals to be held this weekend.
Rebecca has trained with the team each Tuesday and Saturday, with scratch matches during the week for the past three months, after qualifying for the nine-member squad in February.
The High Wycombe resident has played basketball since she was 12 years old for the Eastern Suns in Lesmurdie.
