The Riverland ETP (Emerging Talent Programme) Group has been formed for the younger and inexperienced Basketball player who would like to develop strategy and to enhance the skills of country athletes to allow them to play at their best. Players are invited into the program on the basis of:

 

• The ability to learn and obtain a level of physical and mental fitness;
• Potential to develop and learn the fundamentals of a basketballer;
• Demonstrated positive attitude to training and playing;
• Having experienced one year of competition basketball or show satisfactory & competent skills.
• Must be born 2011,2010, 2009, 2008

 

The development group will also reward those who show potential to strive to be selected to go into the second core group for the DNSP – SA Country Basketball Development Network Squad Program- and then coming of age into the First core group of the DNSP.

 

An on-going commitment to training will be required. Failure to attend training (without reasonable explanation) or continued inappropriate behaviour will result in exclusion from the program.

 

We welcome any players who feel they would like to be part of this very rewarding programme.

Trainings will continue on a Monday nights. Future dates will be informed at the training session.
