This was the season when both grades of Colts competition, Under 16 and Under 14, were terminated.
An Under 13 competition was formed.
Merbein chose not to have a team in the Under 14’s while Robinvale were not represented in the Under 13’s.
Mildura won its seventh top age premiership flag when their Under 16’s defeated Imperials,
9. 11 (65) to 7.2 (44).
Mildura led for all of the game, and withstood a last quarter surge by Imperials to run out winners by 21 points.
