Around Albert Park


Big V Championship Games

During the Tournament we intend to highlight some of the Big V Championship Games on the Showcourt Times and game schedules will be known shortly prior to the Tournament start.

Half Price Swimming at MSAC Pool


MSAC has offered to anybody with a Tournament ticket half price entry to the swimming pool.
Cost is $2 for all day - if you choose to stay.

Clarendon St


There are resteraunts, pubs, fast food, and a variety of other shops on offer. Walk down or catch a tram. Trams to Clarendon St can be caught on the corner of Albert Rd and Cecil St. Head down at least two blocks from Albert Rd in Clarendon St before your in the main shopping area.

Albert Park Shopping Precinct


There are resteraunts, pubs, fast food, and a variety of other shops on offer. Walk down or catch a tram. Trams to Albert Park Shopping precinct can be caught on the opposite side of the underpass at the end of the MSAC Southern Car Park. Head down at least two blocks to Brdgeport St and walk down to the roundabout at Montague St before your in the main shopping area.

South Melbourne Market


There are resteraunts, pubs, fast food, and a variety of other shops and stalls on offer. Walk down or catch a tram. Trams to Clarendon St can be caught on the corner of Albert Rd and Cecil St. Head down to Coventry St, turn left and walk up to Cecil St before your in the main market area

Fitzroy Street St Kilda


There are resteraunts, pubs, fast food, and a variety of other and shops on offer. Walk down or catch a tram. Trams to Fitzroy St can be caught on the corner of Albert Rd and Canterbury Rd behind the distance education school. Head down to Fitzroy St along Canterbury Rd, and your in the main shopping area.

BBQ over the road from MSAC


Over the road from MSAC (manouvering around all the Grand Prix barriers) is a Gazebo with two not very hot electric BBQ hot plates that do work with money in the slot. There is also seats, trees, and grass areas to sit back and relax. There is also walking tracks around the area and the lake

Tram into the City


Walk down or catch a tram. Trams to Clarendon St can be caught on the corner of Albert Rd and Cecil St or on the opposite side of the underpass at the end of the MSAC Southern Car Park. Both tram lines will take you into town and past the Casino

Golf Driving Range


On the south side of the MSAC Southern Car Park there is a Golf driving range. Improve your swing and have a hit out. Bring your own clubs.

Boat Hire on the Lake


Head towards the Bob Jane Car Park and go behind the Bob Jane Stadium. There are boat sheds on the water. They will hire row boats and sail boats.
