Table Tennis
Dates of Competition
Competition runs from Tuesday May 12 - Friday May 15
Venue
The Table Tennis will be held at Palmerston Recreation Centre which is 25 minutes from Darwin City Centre.
The Palmerston Recreation Centre is a newly built, air-conditioned facility and has a wooden floor.
The venue is available for training prior to competition commencing.
Events
Classification
Athletes who do not have a confirmed International Classification will be required to attend Classification. Classification will be conducted on May 10 and May 11, at the competition venue.
Athletes will be notified if they are required to attend classification and their appointment time following the closure of entries.
Entry
Entry to OPC events closes on April 10.
Online accreditation is a 2-step process and needs to be commenced immediately.

Minimum age for Oceania Paralympic Championships
Athletes must be 15 years of age by 31 December 2009.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted under ITTF Paralympic Table Tennis Rules and Regulations. The ITTF code of behaviour is applicable.
3 star ITTF balls will be used.
Awarding of Medals
All athletes with a disability will be eligible for Arafura Games medals. OPC medals will be awarded to athletes from OPC member nations to a maximum of two (2) athletes per country per event.
ITTF Sanctioning and Rankings points
The event is an ITTF Factor 20 sanctioned event. ITTF rankings points are available.
Accommodation
There are a range of accommodation options available.
Arafura Games has a central accommodation booking service. Details are available on the Arafura Games website.
Transfers and transportation
Airport transfers and venue transportation are provided free of charge to all accredited athletes and officials and is fully accessible.
Visa Information
Information on visa requirements is available at the Arafura Games website. The organising committee are unable to provide official letters of invitation or assistance to athletes who do not hold a relevant visa.
