Costs
This is a non for profit competition so all the money that is raised through registration fees & money raised through the BBQ sales goes back into the competition. These fees cover the hire of Ridley Reserve for the season & also the umpires fees plus any other daily running costs of the program. The SANFL also charge $50 to register each team. Each school may charge different amounts depending on there costs for other extras such as trophies or other awards. The SANFL also has a subsidy scheme in place to assist schools with the purchase of equipment such as guernseys.
Location
We are lucky enough to have our games played centrally at Ridley Reserve (Corner of Phillip Hwy & Judd Rd, Elizabeth). The only exception is sometimes Trinity College play one another at either of there home grounds at Trinity Blakeview, Trintiy Gawler River or Trinity North/South Complex.

SASFA Team Opportunities
Premiers Cup
The highest ranked team in the year 6/7 competition mid-season receives the opportunity to represent the zone in a round robin style competition against the leaders in other SASFA zones. If this team is able to win all of its games they would then get the opportunity to play a curtain raiser game at AAMI Stadium before an AFL game.
Mini League
School teams being involved in SASFA may get the opportunity to play a mini league game at half time of a Centrals league game at Playford Alive Oval.
Fair Play Policy
Was introduced in 2008 and is an initiative aimed to encourage good behavior & a safe environment for the participants to play in. After each match has concluded both team managers/coaches are required to score the opposition team on the behavior of the players, coaches, officials & the parents. The umpires also fill out a scorecard on both teams. These points are then tallied up at the end of the season & the team with the most points in each age group will then receive a perpetual trophy & a cash reward. The cash reward is aimed at purchasing equipment to benefit the schools football team/teams.
If you would like any more information on any of these items please feel free to contact Luke at the club on 08 8255 2555.
