Technical Fouls

Our local rules in regards to Technical Fouls were updated in October 2012 and are now as follows:

 

1. Unsportsman like behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated. These actions will result in an automatic technical foul and a 5 minute penalty on the bench.

 

2. Any player who receives 2 technical fouls in a game will automatically be ejected from the stadium and receive a 2 week suspension from the competition.

 

3. Any player who accumulates 3 technical fouls during a domestic competition season will be suspended for 3 domestic games.

 

Penalty - As of July 2015

The penalty for a technical foul will be 1 free throw and a side ball to the opposing team.
