Community Athlete Development Program

The CADP is a curriculum based fundamental skills program with content provided by SA Country Basketball and delivered by association coaches at the association itself.

It is a skills development program aimed at up-skilling athletes who are looking for extra development opportunities outside of their normal club training and playing schedules.

As of 2020, Strathalbyn and District DNSP will change to the current SA Country CADP

On the most part, the day to day running of the program will remain the same for participants. However there will be some changes to the registration and financial obligations for participants.

• Athletes will now need to register and pay online each term.

• Athletes will need to pay a $25 registration fee per term, to cover the cost of court hire, equipment and coaches for the CADP sessions.

• All participants will need to be registered and financial in order to participate in the CADP sessions.

• Athletes are required to purchase and wear a SAC Blue/Red reversible top and bring their own Basketball and Drink Bottle.

• Invited participants will be notified if there are to be movement between sessions.

Sessions will continue to occur on Monday and Wednesday nights of the school term only (excluding public holidays).

All sessions will be held at the following times and locations:

Term 4 2020 sessions and times beginning Monday 19th October 2020 (subject to change )

MONDAY’S ONLY – TYNDALE STADIUM

5.00pm – 6.00pm (Rookies)

6.10pm – 7.30pm (Intermediate)

7.40pm -9.00pm (Elite)

WEDNESDAYS AT TYNDALE

5.00pm- 6.20pm Freshman Boys

6.30pm -7.50pm Freshman Girls

All new participants are to register for the Beginners Sessions unless discussions are held with Sam first.
