NTC Girls

An FFA/FFSA funded program to prepare identified South Australian players who have National and Westfield W-League (WWL) potential.

The Football Federation of South Australia, National Training Centre (NTC) Programs aim is to provide talented boys and girls with the opportunity to develop their skills and ability through a game-related approach to training.

The NTC Program also provides a pathway for the state’s best youth players to progress through to the National representation and the AIS (AIS currently only available for the boys). It also gives players a realistic opportunity for players to make a career from the game.

The National Training Centre Program will ensure the future success of Football within the State, and is a vital part of developing our talented players and preparing them for the big step up to National Representation.

2014 will see the GIRLS National Training Centre (NTC) play in the under 15B JPL competition and go to Canberra in August for the National NTC tournament. This tournament provides the opportunity for players to be selected in the under 16 Australian national team.

Players for this program are assessed throughout the year and selected from U14, U15 & Development programs and clubs.

Players outside of the FFSA talent pathway may also be identified and invited for trials to demonstrate their ability to fulfill the player selection criteria.

Selection panel consists of:
