Bon jour! A lot of action on the cards today especially in weightlifting and athletics.

I was at the Pacific Games Council (PGC) Annual General Conference yesterday at the Secretariat of the Pacific headquarters and was called on to be the official photographer for PGC. And in the evening I went to two functions, one for former athletes from 1963 and the other hosted by Tahiti.

I woke up at the usual time and went to breakfast around 7.30am planning to be based at the Va’a competition.
It’s a beautiful sunny Noumea morning and once again the Tahitians are tipped to dominate but having seen the practices earlier on, I was hoping for the underdogs- Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji and Papua New Guinea to spring some surprises.
