2019 New Zealand National Youth Championships

Thursday July 11 to Sunday July 14

FV Futsal will once again be participating in the New Zealand National Youth Championships. The Championships is the largest Futsal Tournament in New Zealand and features teams from all of New Zealand’s federations, as well as international federation representative teams. It is not a club based tournament and this year it will be held at the world class ASB Sports Stadium in Wellington.

Only one FV Futsal teams will be entered due to NZF's overseas team entry criteria. NZF also has a slightly different age criteria in comparison to Australia’s FAA’s National Championships.

The team will be absorbed into the AGS training program, which commences in May. 

(Girls 16s: The Girls team is now not participating).

Boys 15s / 16s: Would suit players born 2005, 2004 and 2003

Tour details at a glance:

Depart Melbourne Thursday July 11 and return on Sunday July 14

Cost: $2100 per player, all-inclusive of Qantas flights, travel insurance, accommodation, meals, bus transfers, coaching and training. Once a player has been selected for the Tour, the fees are due by COB Friday May 31.

Joma uniforms are extra and can be ordered using the on line system. Previous State Representatives from the 2019 FFA National Championships, who may be selected, might be able to use the previous State Joma apparel. However there are a couple of items that will need purchasing, such as the winter jacket. To be advised.
