STAFF APPLICATIONS
If you would like to apply for a Staff position for any FV Futsal Programs, then please fill in the JotForm and submit.
As FV Futsal have programs throughout the year, applications are accepted at any time, however, some positions may have already been filled. All applicants will be advised by email if they have been successful or not. Successful applicants will then be invited to accept the position they have been appointed to. If the applicant declines, the invitation will be offered to another applicant.
Applicants who accept their appointed roles will be given a contract which outlines the terms and conditions of their employment from the first training date to the end of the program. Coaches and Managers will be paid an Honorarium of $1000 and $500 respectively, depending on which program they are assigned to.
All Staff will be kitted out in Joma uniforms, have their accommodation, food and flights paid for.
During the evaluation process, you may be invited to attend an interview to discuss your application.
All appointed Coaches, Managers and members of the Medical team, must make themselves available for FV Futsal Staff meetings when they are scheduled. Advance notice is always given.
The expectation for Coaching applicants is to attend 100% of the training sessions scheduled; illness and personal issues are the exception. If an applicant cannot commit to the ten to fifteen week program, please do not apply.
Preference will be given to applicants, in the first instance, who have attained the AFC Futsal Coaching Certificate Level 1 (or above). Other criteria for coach applicants includes involvement in the FV Futsal leagues or have been on previous FV Futsal State Tours.
The expectation for Team Manager applicants is to attend 70% of the training sessions scheduled; illness and personal issues are the exception. If an applicant cannot commit to the ten to fifteen week program, please do not apply.
All Staff are encouraged to attend any trial process which will be advised in advance.
Candidates must:
- be professional in their conduct towards their fellow Coaches and Managers; the players and their parents
- be professional in their appearance
- be supportive of the Program, which includes following the guidelines and protocols of the program's management team
- be able to commit to a three month training program which may include two contact sessions per week
- have the required Futsal qualifications or relevant Futsal / Sports administration experience
- have a current Working with Children Check
- not participate in any team where there are siblings or other relatives involved
