CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

 SCF CODE OF BEHAVIOUR 2019-2020

Applicable to Players, Parents, Spectators, Administrators, Committee Members,

Venue Managers and Officials (Referees, Coaches and Managers) 

 

SCF members must: 

  • respect the decisions of Match Officials and encourage others to do the same;
  • never ridicule or unduly scold players for making a mistake;
  • condemn the use of violence in any form, whether it is by other spectators,Team Officials (including coaches) or Players;
  • show respect for the participating teams;
  • respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion;
  • not use violence, harassment or abuse in any form (this includes: must not use foul language, sledge or harass anyone, or partake in indecent or racist chanting);
  • comply with any terms of entry of a venue, including prohibited and restricted items such as flares, missiles and dangerous articles;
  • not throw missiles (including on to the field of play or at other spectators) and must not enter the field of play or its surrounds without lawful authority; and
  • comply with FFA Rules and Regulations and the rules and regulations of Capital Football and District Associations, including the ban on national and political flags, banners or emblems (other than the national flag of a competing national team).

 If a game is abandoned through failure to comply with one of the above Code of Behaviour rules Team Officials are held responsible for Players and their spectators/supporters and will be subject to judiciary proceedings
