2019 Northern Suburbs Basketball - Junior Representative Schedule
Below are the Norths Basketball Junior Representative trial dates. These are trials for the 2019 season.
The NSBA Junior Rep Trials process consists of a number of stages:
OPEN TRIALS - These trials are open to any players who did not play Junior Reps with NSBA in the previous season. This includes any players who play in the NSBA domestic competition as well as players who have played reps for other clubs in the previous season.
INVITE ONLY TRIALS - These trials are for players who did play rep basketball with NSBA in the 2018 season as well as any players who are selected from the Open Trials. Teams are chosen following these trials and posted on our website.
COMBINED TRIALS - are for both open and invite players.
ONLY PLAYERS TRANSFERING FROM OTHER CLUBS/ASSOCIATIONS MUST COMPLETE THE PERMISSION TO TRIAL FORM (download here)
PLAYERS FROM OTHER REPRESENTATIVE CLUBS MUST BRING A COMPLETED PERMISSION TO TRIAL FORM, APPROVED BY YOUR CURRENT CLUB BEFORE BEING ALLOWED ON COURT.

IMPORTANT POINTS FOR ALL ATTENDING TRIALS
- Expressions of interest to play representative basketball for Norths close 01 October 2018
- Representative Team Uniforming Sizing Day has been scheduled for Sunday 25 November - all NEW players must attend returning players who require new or replacement pieces of kit must also attend (you will be unable to play or train without the correct full kit)
- Players that are deemed un-financial by ANY basketball association will be ruled ineligible to attend trials
- Open players must bring a light and dark singlet (or reversable), a basketball with your name on it and a water bottle
- 2018 Rep players must wear their official Norths training singlet and bring a ball and water bottle
- Players need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your trial and ensure you have been checked-in and an id number on your arm
- Player cuts will be made throughout the selection process
- Players selected following the trials must register with a Norths domestic team
- Team announcements will be made via the Norths website (www.nsba.com.au) on the dates mentioned above. At this time information will be supplied regarding a compulsory team meetings for all selected players and at least 1 parent, coach / assistant coach and team manager the the Norths High Performance Manager to outline the guidelines of participating in the 2019 Representative Program
- Due to court availability, the 2019 NSBA representative program will be reducing its number of teams from 32 to 30. The girls and boys u14 White teams will be no longer part of the program
- ALL Players must complete a PERMISSION TO TRIAL FORM (below). Players from other representative clubs must bring a completed permission to trial form approved by they current association/club before being allowed on court. NO FORM, NO TRIAL, NO EXCEPTIONS!
