Member Protection Declaration/WWC
YMBA Coaches, Team Managers, Referees and Volunteers.
It is now compulsory for all above members of our association to have:
1) A current Victorian Working with Children’s Check that has Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Assoc linked to it (Teachers are exempt, but must supply their VIT teachers number to YMBA)
2) A signed Statutory Declaration of the “Member’s Protection Declaration” form.
If you do not have a Working with Children’s Check:
You will need to apply for one ASAP to be able to coach. This is a free Check and can be done online at http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
You can fill in the online form then finalise your application at the Post Office with a photo.
Renewals and personal detail updates can also be done online.
If you do have a current Working with Children’s Check, but DO NOT have our association linked to it:
This can easily be done online by going to the above link and clicking on the “Update my details” area.
Once in this area, please update the “Organisation Details” to include Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association.
You will then need to register as a coach, manager or volunteer and UPLOAD a photo of your current Working with Childrens Card via the following link:
