Venue Information
Geelong is known both nationally and internationally for having one of Australia's premier triathlon venues. It has hosted 2 Australian Championships, 6 State Championships, the World Police and Fire Games Triathlon, 9 National Series races and an international points race.
The spectacular waterfront offers a natural amphitheatre overlooking the triathlon finish and the beautiful Corio Bay. The swim starts at Cunningham Pier and finishes at Eastern Beach with an expected water temperature around 14 degrees. The cycle is a scenic out and back course down the Bellarine Peninsula on closed roads with one large gradual hill. The run is undulating on scenic running paths all overlooking Corio Bay.

How to get there
To travel to Geelong from Melbourne take the Westgate Freeway across the Westgate Bridge and follow the signs to Geelong. The Westgate Freeway changes into the Princes Freeway. Follow the Princes Freeway to Geelong past the Ford Motor Plant and turn left onto Bell Parade - Rippleside Park is on the left hand side of the road. Follow Bell Parade directly onto The Esplanade and follow this until you reach Eastern Beach.
