What is Summer Football?

Football NSW Summer Football competitions offer an exciting opportunity for players to continue their footballing experience throughout the year, whilst providing new participants an opportunity play the world game.

Sanctioned Summer Football competitions are conducted by Football NSW clubs and associations from September to March. Summer Football, with its flexible yet consistent model, provides a great experience for the whole family to enjoy. Players 6 to 11 years will love the discovery phase of football in a non-competitive atmosphere whilst players 12 years and above have the ability to show off their skills and compete in a fun and safe environment.

The 2013/14 season witnessed some changes to the Summer Football structure, with a desire to provide flexibility, consistency, support and resources to competition administrators and participants. Football NSW is excited to offer to Summer Football members a Champions of Champions Gala Day for its Senior Mens and Womens competitions. The Champion of Champions will be facilitated by Football NSW at no extra cost to affiliated Summer Football competition operators or participating teams.
