The July 28 couldn’t have gotten hotter with both Guam and Yap women heating up the gym. Each team covering ground, both working on defense and offense. Team Guam showing tremendous teamwork while Yap counters with a solid gameplay. First set ended with 25 to 14 in favor of team Guam.
Second set began with team Guam leading as team Yap strives to catch up. Numbers 13 and 3 of team Guam working hard on offense delivering incredible spikes. Yap team counters with a tight defense by number 5 and striking hard on offense by number 9. Second set ends with scores 25 to 15 in favor of Team Guam.
Third and possibly the Final set started with Team yap working hard putting in the first points. Team Guam immediately putting up double defense and striking back with their great teamwork. Scores were up 24 to 15 and team yap under stress.
Final set was no difference than the first and second set. With tight play, both teams did a wonderful game, unfortunately, team Guam won the Gold medal leading 25-16 game points.
