The battle for the Frosty Miller Medal will go right down to the wire, with the total to beat set at 38 goals.
A bag of 7 from Box Hill Hawks Sam Grimley and 3 from Port Melbourne's Dan Connors sees them lead the title race, with three matches left in the home and away season on Sunday.
First to give chase Sunday will be RIchmond's Liam McBean, as the Tigers host Footscray on Sunday at 1pm. After kicking 12 goals in his first six games, McBean has been the main target up forward for the Tigers in the last six rounds with 22 majors.
Then the title race will be left to just one, with Coburg's Lech Featherstone remaining the only contender as he makes the long drive to Casey Fields as the Lions tackle Casey Scorpions.
