Jets Looking To Get Back On Track V's Undefeated Rebels

One of Darwin's all-time most successfull sporting teams in the TV Jets Men's League Team will look to get their season back on track when they lattempt to inflict the first defeat of the season on the currently undefeated and League leading Rebels who have a season average winning margin of 16.2.

Last week the Jets surprisingly (margin wise at least) went down by 27 to the Eagles 86-59 while the Rebels  accounted for Razzle with an impressive 30 point win and a strong offensive display 94-64.

Currently the Rebels are sitting at the top of the ladder with 15 points while the Jets are tied for 4th with 9 points.

Given the current positioning of both clubs it appears that both teams have a lot more than just pride to play for in this game in what many people had earlier predicted could be a preview to the 2009 Challenge Season Grand Final......

Travis Ellis (who was held to just 4 points last week) is leading the Jets point scoring for this season and the entire DBL with 122 points (24.4ppg).
Marcus Ch'ng is leading the Rebels with 99 points (19.80ppg) which ranks 3rd in the DBL.

Be sure to get down to the Darwin Basketball Stadium for the 7.45pm tip-off on court 1 and don't miss what shapes as an exciting match between two highly skillful teams.
